The Daggers didn’t register a scorer in double-figures Tuesday night, but they also didn’t allow Kealakehe to reach double-digits until the second half, winning 26-18 at their gym to start the BIIF girls basketball regular season.

Allyssa Padilla and Raynah Berinobis each scored seven points for Pahoa, which shut out the Waveriders in the first quarter and led 12-3 at halftime.

Pamela Kalavi did the bulk of the scoring for Kealakehe, finishing with 12 points.

Soccer

Austin Schneider, Jake Schneider, Noah Wise, Bip Padraos and Toby Balaam each scored goals as Hawaii Prep shut out Honokaa 5-0 on the Dragons’ field.

While Ka Makani ran their record to 3-0, Honokaa fell to 0-2.

Zane Willman stopped a penalty kick early in the match for HPA, and Keaton Riley also had a hand in the shutout.

Konawaena 9, Christian Liberty 0

Hunter Lewi scored three times in Kealakekua, and Logan Takizawa and Jovani D’Angelo finished with two goals apiece for the Wildcats (3-1).

Lyndon Calape and Abdul Shoble also scored, and Ricardo Lopez Saldana and Alan Cancinco-Magana shared in the shutout.

Girls

Hawaii Prep 7, Hawaii Prep 1

Emi Higgins recorded a hat trick and Alexa Richardson added two goals as Ka Makani went on the road to improve to 2-1.

Jenna Perry and Sakura Remsen also had goals for HPA.

The Dragons fell to 1-1, getting a goal from Terri Connors.
